Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 14, 2026

1. Overview and scope

Eurth ("we," "us," or "our") operates the Eurth mobile application and the website at eurth.ca (collectively, the "Service"). This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, store, and disclose information when you use the Service.

Eurth is operated from Toronto, Ontario, Canada. By using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read this policy and consent to the collection and processing of your information as described here, including processing in Canada.

Because Eurth records the supplements and medications you take and, optionally, how you feel each day, some of the information you enter is sensitive health-related information. We treat it with extra care, use it only to power features you choose to use, and never sell it.

What we do not collect

We do not collect your location, contacts, or calendar. We do not collect biometric data, and we do not connect to Apple Health / HealthKit. Payment processing is handled entirely by Apple — we never receive or store your payment card details.

3. How we use your information

  • To provide the Service — authenticate your account, store your stack, deliver reminders, and display your history and insights.
  • To personalize your experience — show content relevant to the goals you selected and celebrate your consistency milestones.
  • To communicate with you — send push notifications and any email digest you have opted into. We do not send unsolicited marketing.
  • To build the shared product catalog — when you scan or add a product, basic product details (such as name, brand, and image) may be added to Eurth's catalog so other users can find it. This catalog information is not linked to your identity, and a scanned product only becomes publicly visible after enough separate users have added it.
  • To improve the Service — review crash and diagnostic reports to find and fix problems.
  • To keep the Service secure — detect and respond to suspicious activity or abuse.
  • To comply with legal obligations — retain records where required by applicable law.

We do not use your health or wellness data for advertising. Your supplement, medication, and mood data is used only to power your personal tracking experience. It is never used to serve ads and never shared with advertisers.

Notifications

With your permission, Eurth sends reminders to take the items in your stack, a daily catch-up nudge, and consistency milestones. Most reminders are generated and delivered on your device — their content (your item names and times) is not transmitted to us. To enable push notifications, we register a device push token with our notification provider (Expo) and with Apple/Google push services and store it with your account. We use it only to deliver reminders and app notifications, and we do not sell it. You can disable notifications anytime in your device settings.

4. Data sharing and disclosure

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share information only in these limited circumstances:

Service providers

We use trusted third parties ("sub-processors") to operate the Service. They may only use the information we share to provide services to us, and they are contractually required to protect it to a standard at least equal to this policy and not to use it for their own purposes:

Legal requirements

We may disclose your information if required by law, court order, or governmental authority, or if we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights or the safety of others.

Business transfers

If Eurth is acquired or merged, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you before your information becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

5. Aggregated insights, partners & affiliates

Part of how Eurth sustains itself is by working with supplement and wellness brands. We do this in privacy-protective ways:

Aggregated and de-identified data

We may create aggregated or de-identified statistics — for example, how consistently people taking a category of product maintain their routines — that cannot reasonably be used to identify you. Aggregated and de-identified data is not personal information, and we may use and share it with partners, including brands, to improve and support the Service.

Future partnerships

Eurth does not currently include advertising, affiliate links, or paid product placements. If we introduce any of these in the future, we will update this policy first. We do not share your supplement, medication, or mood data with brands or retailers.

We will always ask for your clear, separate permission before sharing any information that could identify you with a brand or partner. Your trust is the product — we will not trade it.

6. Barcode scanning

Important: Scanning is a convenience tool for adding products to your personal tracking routine only. It is not a medical records system, pharmacy tool, or clinical application.

When you scan a product barcode, only the barcode number is sent to a product database to look up basic product details such as name and brand. Eurth does not capture or store photographs of your products or labels. You review the result and can edit it before it is saved to your stack, and manual entry is always available as an alternative to scanning.

7. Data retention

We retain your account information and app data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain certain records by law.

8. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including TLS encryption in transit, encryption at rest, securely hashed credentials, and access controls that limit who can access your data. No method of internet transmission is 100% secure. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us at hello@eurth.ca.

9. Your rights and choices

Access and correction

You can view and update your profile and stack at any time within the app. To request a copy of the personal data we hold, contact hello@eurth.ca.

Deletion

You can permanently delete your account and all associated data directly in the app, under Profile, or by contacting us. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

Notifications

You can enable or disable push notifications at any time in your device settings or within the app.

Canada

If you are in Canada, you have rights under PIPEDA (and, in Quebec, under Law 25), including the right to access and correct your information and to withdraw consent.

California

If you are a California resident, you have rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know, delete, and correct your personal information, and the right to opt out of "sale" or "sharing." We do not sell your personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

EU, UK and EEA

If you are in the EU, UK, or EEA, you have rights under the GDPR / UK GDPR, including access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection, and the right to withdraw consent at any time. Our legal bases are your consent (for health-related data), performance of our agreement with you (to provide the Service), and our legitimate interests (security and improvement). You may also lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. Contact hello@eurth.ca to exercise any right.

10. Age and children

Eurth is intended for adults and is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us personal information, contact hello@eurth.ca and we will promptly delete it.

11. Medical disclaimer

Eurth is not a medical device, medical application, or healthcare provider. The Service is a personal habit tracking tool only. Nothing in the Service constitutes medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

The information you enter into Eurth is not reviewed, validated, or verified by any healthcare professional. Eurth does not check for drug interactions, contraindications, or medical appropriateness of any supplement or medication. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider before starting, stopping, or changing any regimen.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the date above and provide notice within the app or by email. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
